With the social development and scientific and technological progress, consumerelectronics are becoming increasingly popular in the community, also being with avariety of species, which is played its role in all walks of life. Because of thedevelopment of the radio frequency technology at the same time, the RF IC cards arepaid more and more attention because of its high confidentiality, non-contact, andlong life,and be followed by the hand-held payment technology which is creepinginto the market. The hardware platform of the system is a hand-held reader hardwaresystem based on the protocol of ISO/IEC14443A combined with the consumerelectronics and card reader functions. It is a base to multi-functional handheldpayment system and application functionality extensions.Firstly, the RFID system and the corresponding technical principles areexplained. Then build the hardware platform of the system in order for a hand-heldsystem expansion in the future. This thesis build the hardware platform based on thecore board of the Friendly Arm Tiny210. Then expand the corresponding peripheralon the bottom plate. Samsung S5PV210processing chip on the core plate has beenchosen because of a high-performance processor for multimedia devices used forsmart phones and tablet. Also PN532came from NXP is been chosen, which is ahigh-performance radio frequency chip supports a variety of communicationprotocols.Then choose Linux which is the open-source operating system. All of aboveare composed of the basic hardware and software structures. Then analyze eachmodule hardware circuit according to the whole structure of the system such as thecore board socket, serial interface circuit, the power supply circuit, SD card circuit,PN532interface circuit and the reader antenna circuit. Then debug the function ofeach module. In order to test the function of the radio frequency card reader part, Ancommand is been sent through the serial port after hardware platform been built.If thecommand is received, write a application program to control to read or write a cardaccording to Libnfc-1.5.0as the level of bottom. Finally, transplant the programrunning on the X86platform to the ARM platform to complete the test of thefunction.
