The development of the website form is generally an evolution history whichexperienced the stage of the traditional two-dimensional form to three-dimensional andgeometric form and then to three-dimensional fluid website. From the theoretical level,the three-dimensional fluid websites form as an object of research are not found at homeand abroad until now. But from the level of technical practices, the website form ofthree-dimensional fluid began to flourish on the internet. Theory and application of fluidart at home and abroad, flow simulation study and flow visualization techniques are alldiscussed in this paper so that we can have a good comprehension of fluid studies. Thebasic concepts and core characteristics of the three-dimensional fluid website arepresented in this paper, and cluster analysis to some excellent sites are executed in orderto know about the development status of website design. Through these cases, we focuson the great differences between the three-dimensional fluid websites and traditionalwebsites, which include the time dimension, the disappearance of boundary whenviewing outside-in and inside-out, the boundary between pages disappeared and thechanged webpage elements.The continuity of the fluid form is the core feature of the fluid website, whichoriginates from these features from the abstract understanding of fluid art form,including natural landscape, Chinese traditional art, western art forms and plastic arts.The continuous movement of fluid is propelled by the dissipative structure andself-organizing force, that is entropic force. The fluid information is organizedaccording the rules of statistical mechanics and digital DNA.Finally, eye movement tracking technology is used in the comparative analysisbetween traditional website and the three-dimensional fluid website. The experiment ismainly consist of fixation duration, fixation frequency and scan paths. Eye movementdata collection and analysis show that the user experience of three-dimensional fluidwebsite is more attractive than the traditional website.
