Oil and gas production, transportation, storage, processing, marketing and otheraspects are inseparable from the flow measurement; measuring instruments’performance is directly related to whether the oil trade is fair. Therefore, we must followthe relevant national verification procedures to carry out the research work oftransmission of measuring value, so as to achieve the unity of transmission ofmeasuring value and ensure the accuracy and reliability of measuring instruments.Therefore, we must establish a high level of oil flow device to achieve the unity of theoil flow measurement value, so as to reduce oil trade disputes and laid an importantfoundation for fairness of oil trade. The control system of oil flow device is animportant part of oil flow device. In order to ensure the device can be able to workbetter, verificate oil flow meter and carry out a series research work of oil flowtransmission of measurement values and tracing in a good condition, this article intendsto establish a complete control system for the device to meet the specified functionalrequirements and the technical indicators.Firstly, this paper analyzes the structure and control requirements of the oil flowdevice and carried out a detailed analysis of the key technologies of the control system.The ways to achieve temperature control, flow control and pressure control is presented.Meanwhile, the ways to fulfill other functions is also given. Due to the needs of thesystem software programming, data processing during verification process is studied indetail.According to the function and control requirements of the oil flow device. Thecomposition and functions of the control system hardware is given. The basicarchitecture of system hardware is presented. The functions, for the host computer,touch screen, two controllers, are discussed in detail. Calculation of the controllerrequired input and output points is presented. The hardware selection has been done andthe electrical schematic diagram of the control system is given.According to the workflow of the system, the ladder program is given for the twoPLC controllers in the system. According the demands of the system, the system’sdatabase is given. Meanwhile, the host computer interface and software features aredesigned and implemented by WinCC configuration software and visual basicprogramming language.In order to verify part functions of the control system, the temperature controlexperiment is carried out concerning a low temperature vacuum system device.Experimental results and curve is given and studied in detail.
