The quantitative material feeding system reduces the harm of dust when thematerial conveying.what’s more, it reduces the energy consumption in the processof system operation, convenient to detect system fault, easy to repair. The givendesign of quantitative feeding equipment control system consists of an industrialcontrol computer as PC,several PLC as Hypogynous machine, each Hypogynousmachine control a kind of material quantitative feeding device.The system can beapplied to small and medium-sized production of loose material quantitativesupply, such as water purification material equipment, food processing, cementmanufacturing and so on. The system hardware is based on spiral feeder,electronic belt scale, PLC.Application of some key technologies, such as PIDcontrol technology, WINCC configuration, and Profibus-DP field-bus technology.This paper first presented material feeding control requirements and mainfunction of the system, thus, designing the system diagram.Then according to theconveying of the material properties designs the corresponding feeding equipmentmechanical structure and given its working principle.Further,the papercomparison of the material feeding mode, select the screw feeder,analysis abouthow to realize the flow rate detection and pre feeding on the basis of electronicbelt scale weighing principle and spiral feeding principle of material. The systemalso designed PID control link, through on-site commissioning on-line self-tuningof PID parameters, so that realize the material1,2,3flow rate optimal control,ensure material quantitative feeding. Finally, according to the control functiondesigned material feeding apparatus control program of PLC ladder diagram, theman-machine interface for monitoring, establish PLC and PC communicationwhich is base on Profibus-DP. The PC using WINCC configuration software,provide a good man-machine interface.PC can monitor PLC input and outputdevice.It makes operations more convenience and safety management. Users canconveniently check the accumulative flow rate, alarm information, systemoperating time on the interface, conduct equipment centralized management.
