Due to the the current market CPCI products can not meet the specialrequirements of a particular test equipment, Wee need to develop a dedicated CPCIbus RS485communication module and the CPCI bus network communicationmodule.Hardware side,We designed two dedicated communications modules withTMS320DM642as the core. Each module uses a DSP and FPGA hardware designframework. RS485communication module uses the DM642embedded PCIinterface to complete the CPCI interface functions.Using FPGA logic to achieveSDLC data link communication protocol. Network communication module uses thePCI9030chip to achieve CPCI interface functions.Using FPGA to complete CPCIlocal control logic and the high-speed read and write control logic of high-capacityCF card.Module firmware programs side,We use the DM642embedded real-timemultitasking operating system DSP/BIOS DSP to design the DSP programs. Todevelop TCP server/client network communication program,We use NDK webdevelopment package to achieve data reception and storage of the network module.The host computer software side, We use NI-VISA driver development kit tocomplete the development of modular instruments installer. To develop eachmodule driver and soft front panel of the host computer we use LabWindowsCVI toachieve the control of each communication module.The site of the real scene and laboratory test results show that the stableoperation of the CPCI bus RS485communication module and the CPCI busnetwork communication module.They are functionality and performance to meetthe design requirements.
