The Research Of A Realtime Video Encoding And Decoding System Based On DM642

The technique of Image Control and Guide is playing as a more and more important role in the field of video watch and control . The collection ,displaying,OSD ,encoding and decoding of image data are of most great importance in establishing the video watch and control system , and it is the transmitting data in real time or not,the compression ratio and the quality of image that directly determine the performance of whole system . At the same time , the research on video watch and control of our country has stepped into the age of embeded system which has great superiority on size,startup speed and structure . As a result, embeded system software which is the soul of embeded system has became one of the most important part of the software system . In this paper,we developped a image encoding and decoding system, and I addressed myself to the design of embeded software system,and finally finished the real-time encoding and decoding,data transmitting and OSD .In the aspect of hardware technique,we introduced the related design technique of TMS320DM642, ADV202, ADV7189 ,ADV7179and AM29LV033C.Embeded software system is the main part of this system which contains the initialization of DM642,the configuration of ADV7189, the configuration of ADV202 and the initialization of ADV7179.These parts are explained in detail in this paper . And also,the driver of capturing and displaying BT.656,the technique of EDMA link,OSD,the developing of multi-level bootloader,the technique of data transmitting of CPCI based on DM642 host mode are particularly introduced,and the result as well as the analyse of our experiments is given at the later part of this paper.Among all above,OSD,EDMA link and the technique of data transmitting of CPCI based on DM642 host mode indicate the superiority of this paper.The collection and displaying of image data,the encoding and decoding,OSD and the technique of CPCI data transmitting together integrate this system,and finally this system can transmit data in real time and has big compression ratio and good image quality .
