In recent years, with the national strength increased, Countries recognize the impo rtance and urgency of shaping the image of the country, National Image Building t o become an important issue. Media as disseminators of public information and public opinion, More and more involved in the international affairs, and also plays a vital ro le inthe shaping of the national image. It can be said that the media is "the image of hi s country’s image and international leaders for the public to shape, to commemorate an d modified intermediary.This article focuses on the use of media framming to analyze the image of the U. S. constructed. To Investigatel. How the Chinese media to be confined to the facts, hi ghlights the fact that, Use of what the causal interpretation, moral judgment and value s to construct the image of the United States;2. Chinese media reports of the United States since not a realistic simple projection of the United States, so how is the ima ge constructed of the U.S by Chinese meida.3.in the U.S. national image building pr ocess, what factors play a crucial role behind the scenes.In this study,2008-2010, People’s Daily, Guangzhou Daily, China Youth Daily, Ch ina Business, Southern Weekend, five media about the U.S. news reports as the researc h object. Sample of874reported as the object of study through systematic sampling, Analysis of their reported issues and value tendencies, trying to America’s image in theC hinese media, comprehensive, systematic, and objective research.Obtained through the analysis, the Chinese media balanced double-sided constructi on method to construct the image of the United States, Depicts a contradiction, dicho tomy, positive image and negative image of the coexistence of the image map. In polit ics, performance as a powerful but overbearing, democracy, but a double standard;th e economy is weak or even recession, but it showed signs of recovery hope; social pro gress, justice, democracy is the mainstream, but there are some violence, racial issues, as well asunemployment problem in this particular period by the financial crisis;cultura1diversity, freedom, democracy, science and technology advanced, but with cultural h egemony and Prejudice. This study suggests that the political and economic environm ent at the institutional level, the media’s own concept of organizational communicatio n level, cultural differences andother factors affecting the formation of the media frame work.
