The teaching of reading plays an important role in Chinese teaching in senior highschool.This study pays much attention to the way to put it into practice in Chinese teachingin senior high school by ways of affective teaching with the method of the literatureresearch, the text analysis and the case analysis.First of all,this article makes a summarizeof the affective teaching.In this part,it discusses the facts and figures of the affectiveteaching,and list its theoretical foundations in terms of Physiology,Psychology,aesthetics ofreception and Educational Theory.It also talks about the great significance of the affectiveteaching,including improving reading efficiency,respecting students and improvingstudents’ overall quality.Then this article points out the problems in affective teaching insenior high school,and analysis its reasons by ways of teachers,students andschools.Meanwhile,it refers to the problems in textbooks.At last,to solve these problems,itputs forward four measures,including setting great beginnings with suspenses,situationsand audio-visual images,doing emotional readings by teachers and different students indifferent ways,having researches and cooperations with good questions,teamwork andmargins, having extensions by adding informations and materials and connecting readingwith reading.
