Based on the background of the national policy, the needs of the social development andthe rural teacher’s ability of applying information technology. To construct the rural teacher’sability of applying information technology training mode, to improve the levelof rural teachers’ information technology application abilities for the purpose, from the aspectsof theory and practice, further study on the system of information technology teachertraining model.Method of literature research, this article through the literature research teachers’information technology application ability training situation at home and abroad, summarizesthe United States, Britain, Russia, Japan characteristics of teachers’ information technologytraining pattern, the training experience of developed countries for reference, get to ourcountry rural teachers’ information technology application ability training model study ofinspiration.Present situation analysis, through to the LiaoNing province surrounding rural schools tovisit, the survey found rural level of teachers’ information technology application ability isgenerally low, school multimedia teaching equipment idle in severe cases. Through theinterview survey to understand, teachers’ participation in training effect is not ideal. Based onthe analysis of present situation, proposed in view of the rural teachers’ information technologyapplication ability training model research is a necessity.Theoretical basis, according to the theory of adult teaching, teacher professionaldevelopment stage theory, Web-Quest and peer learning theory based on network, theimplementation of the experimental training, and analyze the training effect, found aconsiderable improvement of teachers’ information technology application ability level,multimedia teaching equipment idle question is obviously improved. Comprehensiveexperiment effect study, constructed the “Four in One” rural teachers’ information technologyapplication ability training model.Research results, the study through literature study, investigation, analysis andexperimental training, constructed the "four one" rural teachers’ information technologyapplication ability training model, summarizes the characteristics, function and implementationof the model are suggested. The article stated the university in accordance with the process of the new training pattern research of rural schools, analyze the obtain first-hand trainingmaterials, trying to draw a scientific conclusion. The experimental results show that "four one"rural teachers’ information technology application ability training model has certain innovativein theory, in practice, operable and effective; The height of the training of rural teachersendorsed; Truly the training to the rural schools, promoting the practice teaching of university,greatly improved the problem of rural schools multimedia teaching equipment idle, effectivelypromote the rural school subjects and the integration of information technology.
