The teacher occupation particularity determines they can’t have long time from teachingposition for business and comprehensive quality of study. And the emergence of distancetraining for teachers provides a good opportunity and possiblility for their own developmentneeds. Through teachers distance training plan has been put into effect for several years,teachers’ comprehensive quality and professional ability is greatly improved. Thedevelopment of the teachers distance training is helpful to solve the dilemma of traditionalteacher training mode,it can effectively save training costs, improve the training effect andpromote teachers’ practical knowledge to be made explicit.But it should be pointed out that teachers distance training effectiveness have great gapwith the expected effect. It still shows inadequate in many ways which results unnecessarynegative effects on the actual effect of teachers distance training. First of all, the trainingeffect is difficult to fully achieve the desired level and height; Secondly, the knowledge andthe skill training about the distance training is lacking; Finally, the training content cannotmeet teachers’ individual need. The factors to influence the effectiveness of training are theteachers’ internal factors, distance training media elements, distance training evaluationsystem, the network collaboration and social skills, the effectiveness of network curriculumdevelopment and so on.In view of the present distance training in our country especially the problems existing inthe national distance training process and the related influencing factors, it should beimproved from the following several aspects: set up correct concept and standardize thetraining management, strengthen the professional training and improve teachers’quality, integrate learning resources and perfect evaluation system, strengthen the networkcooperation and enhance social skills as well as training, optimize curriculum developmentand so on.
