A new round of curriculum reform in an all-round way, among them, new high school physics curriculum standards on the basis of physical education provide more detailed requirements. The new curriculum emphasizes, life and physics should relate each other closely, pay attention to the cultivation of students’scientific research ability and should be focus on the establishing of core concepts in physics. Under the background, the promotion and implementation of the heuristic method of teaching have become one of the educators imminent work.The heuristic method of teaching has a long history, and it reveals the objective laws education. At the same time, it advocates "One, Not Determined to Learn". The heuristic teaching requires teachers have the abilities to stimulate students’learning motivation in the right time.When the students come to the "Fen""Fei" state, teachers should guide and help students, so as to students can develop well in all aspects. In the heuristic teaching process, students through positive thinking, independent solution to the problem, not only develop the good habit of independent thinking, but also master knowledge well and make flexible use.The main idea of heuristic teaching and the new curriculum standards fit closely and supplement each other. It is important wether teachers can have a correct understanding of the heuristic method of teaching theory in high school physics teaching and how to effectively carry out the heuristic teaching. This is also the core content discussed in this paper.This paper starts from the history of heuristic teaching, discusses the emergence of heuristic teaching, the development and inheritance of heuristic teaching and the modern application of it. Based on the heuristic teaching thought, this paper discuss the relation between the heuristic teaching and many modern teaching theories. Combined with the actual teaching process, the paper also investigates on the teachers understanding of the physics of heuristic teaching and the implementation of the principles and strategies. At last, it proposes the high school physics teaching principles and strategies.In the end,"Electric Field" in physics of high school as an example, combined with my practical experience, analyze the specific process of heuristic teaching in class.
