| Higher education self-study exam is a higher education form,which is acombination of individual self-taught, social assistance and national examination. Itextremely has the Chinese characteristic and is an important part of higher educationin our country. Till no’w,theres nearly no special subject study of Hunan province’sself-taught examination system, which made it necessary and significant to studyHunan province’s self-taught examination system. In this research, given to the natureand characteristics of self-taught higher education examinations, the fundamentalsabout such concepts as the popularization of higher education, lifelong learning andthe scientific outlook on development are cited as theoretical support. The author alsoapplied the expert interviews method and Mathematical Statistics method to carry onempirical research about the present condition, especially the problems of Hunanpro’vinces self-taught higher education examinations, and analyzed the reasons. Andfound Hunan province’s self-taught examination system has made great achievementsat the same time, there are still some problems can not be ignored. The achievementsmainly as follows: promoted the diversification of forms of higher education in HunanProvince, became one of the main practice members of Hunan Province’spopularization of higher education, trained a large number of practical talents forHunan Province, promoted the flourish of Hunan province’s self-taught highereducation examinations in rural areas, enriched practical experience of Hunan HigherEducation Reform. Problems arising: profession and curriculum lack of scientific, thefunction absence of educational institutions, there are security risks of test andexamination organization work is not rigorous, and so on. Giving further analyzes tothe problems of Hunan province’s self-taught higher education examinations, we cansee the reason from three aspects, the State and the host school, the ministryinstitutions, the students themselves. Then the author used policy analysis method andexperience method to propose the following counter-measures: adjust the professionalstructure; improve the service quality; build the modern educational mode; strengthenthe security of the test paper; strengthen the examination management; improve thequality of teaching materials. At the same time, put forward the countermeasuresabout building self-taught higher education examinations’ quality assurance system,from the institutional level. It aimed to promote healthy and sustainable development of Hunan province’s self-taught higher education examinations, and to meet theeconomic societ’ys and people’s demand for the diversification of higher education,building lifelong learning platform. |
