Study On The Development Of Higher Education In Hunan Since The Reform And Opening-up (1978-)

Education is related to national quality, decides the development of the cause of the state, its importance is self-evident,Any hope of the nation,must pay attention to the development of Education. As the development of education in the top stage,higher education directly affects the overall development of the national economic development, social progress and individual life. Regional research object of the thesis selected for the Hunan province.the province is located in the hinterland of China, its culture has a long history, can be used as a typical representative of the development of higher education. The paper also uses the methods of historical documents, investigation and interviews, chart statistics, from different perspectives of history, political science, pedagogy, to explore the occurrence,development process of higher education in Hunan for more than30years since the reform and opening-up. On this basis, will be carried out for the longitudinal comparison the higher education in Hunan between before and after the reform and opening;then, horizontal comparison the higher education between Hunan and the neighboring Hubei and Jiangxi provinces,tries to ecology of higher education in Hunan, to explore the higher education and its economic,social,and Hunan cultural development of the internal connection, summarizes its the characteristics of the, development, analyzes its existing problems, and prospects the development of Hunan higher education in the future, in order to provide the theory reference and policy for the development of Higher Education under the background of globalization.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.The introduction part mainly includes the origin of the topic and the research significance, research time and the definition of related concepts, research review, research ideas and research methods, the innovation and the deficiency.The part focuses on the related research status and objective comment on it.The body is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter mainly analyzes the background of the development of higher education in Hunan.This part describes the development of higher education in Hunan,mainly from the four aspects:historical roots, social atmosphere, pressure of the shortage of talent and policy guarantee, in order to make a foundation for the development of higher education in Hunan.Reviewing the history of higher education in Hunan in this context.History follows the Republic of educational development, the development of higher education in Hunan is divided into four historical stages:bring order out of chaos, order rehabilitation (1978-1984), explore the reform, accelerate development (1985-1991), deepening reform,and actively develop (1992-1998) and comprehensive reform,"corner overtaking"(1999-).The second chapter mainly discusses the problem of orientation of Hunan. Based on the orientation angle, Discusses the unique talent cultivation mode in Hunan University;sampling to select text development planning of Hunan18universities and colleges in Hunan College of education, located in question, select the path and explore the scientific orientation of running.The third chapter explores the bidirectional interaction of Hunan higher education and regional economy in Hunan and Hunan culture. Conclusions:there is a positive correlation between strong between Hunan higher education and regional economic development, Changsha "degenerate Street" and "Science Park" Mount Yuelu University of higher education and economic development from a lower to a typical case of high closely associated; coupling interaction between higher education and Hunan culture, coexistence. The fourth chapter mainly discusses the relationship between higher education and social mobility. First of all, from the macro level analysis of the Hunan higher education achievement; then, taking Jishou University as an example, made from the micro level analysis of Hunan higher education performance; finally, an objective evaluation of the Hunan College of remarkable achievements.The conclusion part summarizes the historical experience of the development of Hunan higher education and enlightenment, stressed that: higher education cannot be government agencies appendages; university to scientific orientation; higher education to develop steadily, "localization" development; and discusses the development trend of higher education in Hunan under the background of "mass higher education".
