A plethora of research on “resilience” emerged since1970s, which subsequentlybecomes a new and significant realm of research. The first part of the essay starts with the“elasticity” derived from physics and then develops into “resilience” applied both by biologyand psychology. Also, the beginning part deals with the derivation of “resilience”, results oftwo major research, three mainstream definition, mechanism of “resilience” involved risk andprotective factors, and systematic introduction of the possible problems. The second partgives an analysis about derivation of our nation’s middle school moral education, then make aconclusion about the essence of moral education, the goals of ideological and moral educationand the goals of personality psychological education, as well as four representations whendiverging from moral education goals. Besides, the essay analyzes the divergent reasons fromvalue guidance, principles, approaches, and department of education function.In the third part of the essay, analysis on the value of “resilience” in middle schoolmoral education from two aspects: healthy personality common goals between “resilience”and middle school moral education, and in return,“resilience” facilitates the integrationbetween psychological health education and middle schools moral education. In the end, theessay make a conclusion about the reasons of divergence of middle schools moral educationand provides that how to apply “resilience” into middle schools moral education, includingthe department of educational administration, schools, parents, society, and teachers.Psychological health education, as a science, can be integrated with middle schoolsmoral education. Therefore, positive psychology in great demand can meet the moraleducation for middle school students specifically and appropriately, let alone “resilience”, abrand-new perspective of positive psychology. Synthesizing the moral education with suchexplicit perspective or theory can render the students fell positive when encounteringpressures, frustrations, and adversities. It is with great advantages for students to adapt to andresolve adverse factors. It is also possible to integrate middle schools moral education withsuch a specific perspective of psychology.
