Moral education is the fundamental task of education in China.Physical education has a unique advantage in promoting students’ moral education.Using physical activities as the main method,which contains high moral values.The Ministry of education highly values the function of physical education and proposes five disciplines: physical education,art,chinese,history and morality should integrate in comprehensive education.Thus,discipline integration has become an important way to achieve the function of moral education in primary and secondary schools.At the moment,how to construct the moral education system of physical education effectively and how to achieve the integration of moral education with other disciplines have facing the big challenges.In this essay,using document-data method,experts interviewing method,questionnaire survey,case analysis method,action research method and mathematical statistic method to survey and research on the current status of moral education of primary and secondary schools’ physical education.The action program will be formed for providing effective ways for moral education of primary and secondary schools’ physical education.Conclusion of this research:1.The content system of moral education in primary and secondary schools’ PE mainly divided into four dimensions: national identity,cultural confidence,social responsibility and healthy personality.The dimension of national identity include:patriotic dedication,national honor,national spirit;The dimension of cultural confidence include: cultural cognition,cultural inheritance,cultural innovation;The dimension of social responsibility include: honest and trustworthy,observe disciplines and obey laws,fraternal cooperation;The dimension of healthy personality include:physical and mental health,teamwork spirit,will and quality etc.2.The characteristics of moral education in primary and secondary schools’ PE mainly include: normative,systematicness,innovativeness etc.The method of achieving moral education in primary and secondary schools’ PE is disciplinary integration.The basic requirements include: cultural moral education: multi-level of the construction of the campus sports culture system;cooperative moral education:society,school and family in the trinity;whole procedure moral education: integration of high school PE in elementary and secondary school and practical moral education:the unity of knowledge and practice.3.Currently,"the physical and healthy curriculum standard" and PE teaching materials all set up the aim of moral education in PE,but aims are too vague,general and unsystematically.4.Most primary and secondary schools’ PE teachers have realized that it is of great significance to carry out moral education on PE class.But in practice,because lack of understanding the goals of PE and did not master proper methods,the effect of moral education in PE is not that satisfying.Primary and secondary schools’ leaders have higher recognition level on moral education in PE but implementation is good enough5.An analysis of the effectiveness of action research program shows that the teaching strategies mainly use such methods as group discussion,case analysis,model learning and multimedia teaching methods.6.The implementation of action research has a positive influence on the moral education concept of schools ’leadership and the relationship between discipline teaching and moral education.School leadership put more efforts and concerns into moral education in primary and secondary schools’ physical education.Action research program help teachers change moral education concept.The implementation of action research program also has a positive influence on students.The students will have clearer and more positive understanding of patriotism,volitional quality,cooperation,obey the rules and competitive spirits.
