Regional geography is an important content of Geography. The new curriculumstandard on the learing of the object is not to memory the contents mechanically,butlearing the methods, so it is very important to find an effective way to learn it. Themap is the second language of Geography Teaching and it is the key to solvegeographic problems and the psychological map is the key of map learning. Thisstudy presents that the psychological map is an important tool for studying regionalgeography and summarizes the construction method of regional geographypsychological map.The thesis consists of three parts: introduction, text and conclusion. The body hasthree chapters.The introduction part describes the research background from the society,curriculum, students and college entrance examination in four aspects, and explainsthe meaning of the study.The first chapter contains the general situation of regionalgeography and psychological map of two parts. The regional geography part analysisthe regional high school geography knowledge structure, the learning method ofregional geography, and puts forward some effective tools of learning geography isthe psychological map. The psychological map part analysis what the psychologicalmap like and the construction of a psychological map.The second chapter is the construction of the regional geography ofpsychological maps. Contains "where it is" mental map building and construction of"what it is like" a mental map of the two parts of contents.The third chapter is the construction strategy of regional geographypsychological map. This part puts forward three strategies of constructing apsychological map.The conclusion:The conclusions of this paper, and points out the shortcomings.
