The 2017 edition of the geography curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools clearly states that at the present stage,"to cultivate the necessary geographical literacy of modern citizens",and that the infiltration and cultivation of the core geographical literacy is of great significance for students to "learn the geography useful for lifelong development".As an important part of geography core accomplishment,regional cognition mainly aims to enable students to extract and analyze regional natural and humanistic elements of different backgrounds and scales,so as to strengthen their own accomplishment.High school regional geography curriculum for the development of students' regional cognitive ability to provide unique conditions.At present,scholars at home and abroad for a certain teaching under the background of the relevant person to coordinate view,geographic practice,comprehensive thinking and the area of cognitive strategy studies have advanced,but the research on regional geography teaching cognitive ability is relatively less,therefore,which is based on regional geography teaching,a region to improve students' cognitive ability training strategy is of great significance.Through the analysis and integration of domestic and foreign research status literature,based on previous studies,this paper investigates the status quo of regional cognitive literacy cultivation of middle school students in regional geography teaching in shihezi high school by means of literature research,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis,and finds the existing problems.In addition,this paper proposes relevant teaching strategies for the problems of teachers' teaching attitudes and methods,and students' learning attitudes and methods.This paper mainly includes the following six parts:The first chapter: introduction,mainly explains the research background,research significance,clear research purpose;According to the research review at home and abroad,the research contents and methods of this paper are further clarified to provide research ideas for the follow-up research.Chapter two: definition of relevant concepts,including geography core accomplishment,region,region cognition and regional geography teaching,etc.,to clarify the theoretical basis.This paper takes regional geography theory as the basic research theory,multiple intelligences theory and cognitivism theory as the basic promotion theory,and learning transfer theory as the practical guidance theory.Chapter three: current situation investigation,investigating the current situation of regional cognition cultivation in regional geography teaching,the investigation found that students have an incomplete understanding of the connotation of regional cognition accomplishment,most of the students lack of spatial awareness,spatial thinking and interestin geography learning.Teachers need to pay more attention to the cultivation of students' regional cognitive literacy,the teaching methods and evaluation methods are relatively single,and the difficulties of cultivating students' regional cognitive ability in teaching come from many aspects.Chapter four: strategies are put forward.According to the current situation of training,it is proposed to enhance teachers' quality and attach importance to students' regional cognition training at the level of teachers' teaching,so as to find effective methods to cultivate regional cognition ability in classroom teaching.And actively organize diagnostic evaluation and other strategies.At the level of students' study,it is suggested that students should continuously strengthen their map consciousness.Strategies such as improving spatial awareness;At the school management level,the emphasis of geography should be strengthened,the construction of atmosphere should be strengthened,and local curriculum should be developed.Chapter five: case implementation,through the compilation of teaching cases to design the activities of teachers and students,and the use of the proposed strategies for empirical verification,to prove the feasibility of the strategies.Chapter six: conclusions and prospects,including main conclusions,shortcomings and prospects.
