The Basic Education in China has made brilliant achievement ever since the reform andopening-up. However, the overall level is not very high and the original elementary educationcurriculum is not adaptable to the need of today’s development. Therefore, the Ministry ofEducation promulgated Basic Education Curriculum Reform(Trial) in2001which putforward that the country should promote basic education curriculum reform vigorously andestablish the basic education curriculum system that conforms with the requirements ofquality-oriented education. For this reason, the Chinese government promulgated full-timecompulsory education in Russian Course Standards (trial) in2001and Ordinary high schoolRussian curriculum standard (trial) in2003respectively which become the main standard forRussian curriculum and teaching. In order to cultivate a large number of excellent teachersand educationist and to promote the development and justice of the education, the GeneralOffice of the State Council released the implementation of free education for normal studentsat normal universities directly under the Ministry of Education (trial) on May9th,2007which put forward that the country would provide free education to normal students at sixnormal universities directly under the Ministry of Education. Thereinto, Northeast NormalUniversity is the only one which provides free education to Russian normal students. In orderto cultivate the free education for Russian normal students better, the present paper made aninvestigation of the process and content of classroom teaching in the educational practice of2008free education for Russian normal students by using classroom observation,questionnaire survey and interview based on the relative education theories and proposedsuggestions for Russian teaching and for the cultivation of free education for Russian normalstudents.The present thesis includes the following seven chapters.In Chapter one the author expounds the research background, research aims andsignificance, research objects and questions, research methodologies and innovations as wellas technologies of the present paper.In Chapter two the author states the relative research of the scholars both at home andabroad chronologically and compares and summarizes them.In Chapter three, the author explains the education concepts and objectives of the newcurriculum standard which lays a theoretical foundation for the present paper.In Chapter four, the author chooses the cognitive learning theory of Bruner, Ausubel andGagne and The Theory of Mastery Learning of Bloom as the theoretical framework, anddefines the teaching process, teaching content and valid combination.In Chapter five, the author divides the periods of the classroom teaching process inmiddle school Russian class based on the above theories, and elaborates the valid combinationof the five teaching process and content which is pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar,conversation and text to determine the research range in the present paper.In Chapter six, the author chooses classroom observation, recording and transcription,questionnaire survey and interview as research methodology, puts forward a concrete research design and makes analysis and discussion of the acquired data.In Chapter seven, the author sums up the paper according to the data analysis and givessuggestions for the cultivation of Russian free normal students.
