Along with the implementation of the policy of free education of normal students and with the reformation of elementary education curriculum thoroughly promote, the curriculum system and teaching methods of biology education professionals in higher normal education are faced the huge impact and tough challenges. How to make the excellent free normal students into excellent teachers and educators that the new curriculum needs has become the core problem of the higher normal teacher education reform. Face the new situation, we aware of that only set up the more scientific and more reasonable curriculum system, continuously reform teaching methods can guarantee the quality and specifications of the normal teacher education and on this basis we can make the excellent free normal students into excellent teachers and educators.The study makes the curriculum reform and teaching methods in biology education professionals of Shaanxi Normal University as the research object, pay more attention on "How to make the excellent free normal students to become the excellent teachers and educators" throughout the study. Based on the cultivate requirements of the new biology curriculum ,pay more attention on the practical problems of curriculum reform and the reform of teaching methods and give the in-depth study of the curriculum system and teaching methods reform. This research will give the key value on a better understanding of the request that the basic education curriculum reform and the normal teacher education curriculum reform.This article mainly divides into five parts. The first part is an introduction, give the historical study on the reformation of elementary education curriculum and the free education policy of normal students, and it fully illustrated the historical background and the value of implementation, the research ideas reflects the essence of the study, the definition of the study standardized related concepts in order to give the theoretical support for the further research. The second part mainly study the curriculum system of biology education professionals in higher normal education in the background of free education of normal students. Following the first part about definition, this part use the methods of literature research and comparative research, give the macro-analysis on curriculum system. Research the curriculum constitution, curriculum proportion and the characteristics of teacher education though comparing the curriculum plan form grade 2002 to grade 2008 and give the conclusion of this part: with the implementation of the policy of free education of normal students and with the biology curriculum reform, the direction of the curriculum system reform of biology education professionals is absolutely right, the progress is obviously distinct and shows the specific goal, pointed out that the reform of the curriculum system is more and more close to the ideas and request of the new curriculum. At the same time, give the four inadequacies combining the actual situation of curriculum constitution. The fourth part is the other of the focus of my study, the consider in depth of the curriculum content of biology education professionals. The third part pointed out that only the curriculum content reform of biology education professionals must conform to the request of the elementary education curriculum reformation can make the excellent free normal students into excellent teachers and educators that the new curriculum needs, so the problem: How curriculum content reform should doing ? This part give the specific answer that though the three aspects: pointed out that the curriculum content reform should be constructed form the professional knowledge, the professional competence and the professional development, then will made the more successful progress. Finally, analysis of the teaching methods of biology education professionals, and pointed out the existence problems, proposed that the development of teaching methods reform should attach importance to the teaching of teachers and learning of students, compromises the both of them, improve the teaching quality, in order to make the teaching more effective. The fifth part is the summary and discussion. In this pant, the article manly summarized the main conclusion and the deficiency which exist in this research entire process. And I hoped those deficiency could be solved in later research and could provide the valuable views and advices for me by communication between experts, teachers, students and me.
