Nowadays, fashion culture has a great influence on college students. On the one hand, the fashion culture plays a positive role in promoting the socialization of college students, alleviating various pressures, and at the same time, enriching the resources of ideological and political education. On the other hand, due to the commercial interests, the fashion culture brings negative impacts on obliterating the students’ individual uniqueness, desalinating the sense of shame, indulging in the unhealthy consumption and making the aesthetics being vulgar. Meanwhile, the negative fashion culture can shock the mainstream culture, weaken its instillation and aggravate the complexity of environment. As a result, the difficulty of the ideological and political education increased.At present, fashion culture has become the inevitable environment that college ideological and political education must face. As a type of culture, the fashion has a responsibility to spread advanced culture.
