The Measure Word which is regarded as a unit of quantity or behavior, is the part of speech with distinctive features in the sino-tibetan language family. So the learning of The Measure Word brings great trouble to foreign students. However, the research of The Measure Word which is the combination of Chinese teaching as a foreign language, is far to meet the needs of The Measure Word in Chinese teaching as a foreign language because of the late starting and the narrow range of study. Accordingly this paper selects the NEW PRACTICAL CHINESE READER as the textbook. Through the detailed statistical layout situation of The Measure Word in this textbook, this paper analyses the existing problems of The Measure Word arrangement in textbooks and choose a small class called appearance The Measure Word as the entrance of the study to get a deeper discussion. Finally this paper returns to The Measure Word itself as a whole.The whole paper is composed of two parts:the introduction and the main body. The main body consists of three chapters.Introduction mainly expounds The Measure Word noumenon, appearance The Measure Word noumenon and the research status of the combination of The Measure Word and Chinese teaching as a foreign language. And it also analyses the results of the predecessors’ research.In the first chapter, this paper counts the number of The Measure Word in detail in the NEW PRACTICAL CHINESE READER and mainly analyses the existing problems of The Measure Word arrangement in textbooks and the conclusions are as follows:Firstly, the number of The Measure Word is less and rare,which is far from meeting the need of students;Secondly,the explanation of The Measure Word in the book is not enough and been lagged;Thirdly,the exercises of The Measure Word is rare;Fourthly,there is no summing up of The Measure Word.In the second chapter, this paper selects a small class called appearance The Measure Word as the entrance of the study and investigate almost all of the foreign students in the overseas education college by means of the classroom survey, questionnaire survey, interview survey and so on. Of all the ways, this paper gives priority to the making of questionnaire. The questionnaire includes the appearance The Measure Word in the textbook. Through the analysis of survey results, this paper works out the appearance The Measure Word acquisition rule curve, the appearance The Measure Word acquisition error, the confusing synonymous appearance The Measure Word and analyzes the causes of the errors.In the third charpter, according to the previous statistics, this paper analyzes the result and put forward the suggestions that apply not only to the appearance of The Measure Word but more to the teaching, acquisition and the arrangement of the teaching material, hoping to bring contributions to the quantifier of Chinese teaching as a foreign language. |
