How to Understand and apply the measure word is a major stumbling block to Chinese studying for foreign students. The measure word which should be paid more attention to when Chinese is taught as a foreign language haven`t been attached enough importance to. Teachers seem reluctant to spend enough time on measure words, and the layout of measure word in textbooks needs to be improved,. That’s why the measure word is ignored in actual teaching process. There is causality between them to some extent.According to the current situation, I will choose the arrangement of the measure word as an object of study, and do some statistical analysis of some textbooks, such as <GO For Chinese> and <Developing Chinese>. Firstly, I compare the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching materials from some certain aspects, which are layout, recurrence, comments and exercises. You may know by a handful the whole sack. Then, I will make a collective assessment of the gains and losses, according to the statistical data and analyses. Then the dissertation put forward three suggestions that apply to the arrangement of the measure word, including layout,comments and exercises.
