Objective:The study aims to observe the effect of Quzhi Shengfaye in treating androgenic alopecia.And it will provide an excellent idea for the prevention of AGA.Methods:72cases came from the First Affiliated Hospital out-patient of Hunan university of TCM, divided into two group. The treatment group (32cases) was given by Quzhi Shengfaye. And the control (32cases) the minoxidil. The improvement of associated symptoms were compared after6months.Results:1)The overall response rate of the treatment group is88.6%,and the control78.8%.The difference is not statistically significant(P>0.05).2)The treatment group can improve associated symptoms(scales and the degree of greasy), but the control one can not.3)The curative effect in improving the pruritus and hair loss was the same.4)The lesion area of the two are decreased, but the control one is superior (P<0.05)Conclusion:It is suggested that Quzhi Shengfaye is superior to the minoxidil in improving the clinical symptoms (pruritus and the degree of greasy)of AGA. But curative effect of the two group on Itching and hair loss was the same.
