| Objective:To observe the curative effect of "yi ren qu shi sheng fa decoction" on treating androgenic alopecia,and using scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersion X-ray microanalysis to determine content of chemical elements in human hair.Methods:All cases came from out-patients of Jiangsu Province Hospital of TCM, divided into treatment group (64cases) and control group (46cases). The treatment group was treated by "yiren qushi sheng fa decoction ". The control group was given oral finasteride. The effect and the improvement of associated symptoms were evaluated after treating3months. Using scanning electron microscope, the difference of chemical elements content between the hair of patients with AGA(208cases) and96cases normal human hair was determined; Meanwhile, the change of chemical element content in hair were observed before and after treatment in patients with AGA.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group is85.93%and the control group is67.39%. There was significant difference between two groups. Patients in both groups were well matched. The points of two groups after the treatment condition significantly lower than those before treatment (P<0.05).The improvement of associated symptoms of the treatment group was obviously better than that of the control group after3months (P<0.05).The result of experiment show that the content of hair elements in AGA patients and the normal people is different.And chemical elements content in hair is also different before and after treatment.Conclusion:The study confirmed the effect of "yi ren qu shi sheng fa decoction" on treating androgenic alopecia, and can better improve the clinical symptoms. Combination of scanning electron microscopy energy dispersion X-ray microanalysis is intended for patients with hair chemical element analysis, in order to further study the pathogenesis of AGA and develop new ideas of treatment. |
