Medicinal Ointment Qutong Early Knee Osteoarthritis (Hanning Blood Stasis Syndrome) Clinical Observation And Treatment

Objective:To explore the clinical effect of "Shu Jin Huo Xue plaster" in treatment patients with Knee osteoarthritis (cold coagulation and blood stasis),short for KOA,This research will lay a solid foundation for further clinical study.Method:60cases with KOA (cold coagulation and blood stasis) were divided into2groups randomly.Test group (30cases) received "Shu Jin Huo Xue plaster"treatment and control group (30cases) received "Tong Luo Qu Tong plaster" during the treatment.The clinical therapeutic effect of this two groups were compared by observing the change of the subjective symptoms,impersonal physical signs,the quality of life before taking the pills and14days after. We also monitored the drug’s security at the same time.Result:After one treatment course,the pain scores and dysfunction of test group is more meaningful than control group.The symptoms of these two groups were relieved,and the difference between them was statistically significant.The total score of test groups were significant better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant.The knee stiffness score between these two groups is not statistically significant.Conclusion:The present trail indicate that "Shu Jin Huo Xue plaster"and "Tong Luo Qu Tong plaster"had a certain curative effect in improving subjective symptoms and impersonal physical signs.In addition,the treatment group was more effective in changing the painful and function of the ill knee.Both of them had not adverse reactions.It indicated that "Shu Jin Huo Xue plaster"is a effective medicine in treatment KOA.
