In recent years, with increased investment in water conservancy of our country, theconstruction scale of water conservancy project develop rapidly. field work oftenincluding blasting or working in high altitude, tunnel, mountain and underwater, etc.Hence, there is a certain risk to the construction site and makes the analysis and controlhazards of water conservancy construction is particularly important. Thus, one of thefirst issues is how to take a feasible evaluation for hazardous source in controlling offield work. Hence, the thesis focuses on demonstration of risk assessment for the smalland medium-sized water conservancy project. Firstly, the introductory part willillustrate this thesis’s significance, introduce its background, the research on it atpresent time and bring about the fundamental research method all over the world as well.Furthermore, it is pointed out that the definition of the hazardous source, constituentelements and characteristics, and the classification of hazards in field work of waterconservancy construction. Third, the hazards analysis of the concept of waterconservancy construction site, theory method, system construction, control, and theestablishment of contingency plans has been developed. Finally, this research has beenverified by the engineering example, and we proposed the four affects factors ofconstruction safty, i.e.,“object factors”,“management”“human factor” and“environmental factors” Meanwhile, the various influence factors of engineering qualityhas carried on the elaboration. Moreover, using fuzzy clustering iterative theory againstthe risk factors of the construction site, evaluated the risk level of the constructionsite, and compared the safety of four construction sites, and the importance of qualityfactors make the results more objective and scientific.
