Clinical Research On Tangzhiqing Improving B-Cell Function Of Pancreatic Islets Of T2DM Hyperlipidemia

Purpose: To observe the therapeutic efficacy of Tangzhiqing recipe in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus associated with hyperlipidemia.Methods: A randomized, controlled trial was conducted. 48 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus associated with hyperlipemia were randomly classified into two groups. On the basic of normal treatment (diet, practice, Metformin), patients of treated group (n=28) were treated by Tangzhiqing recipe and patients of blank group (n=20) were treated by the normal treatment (diet, practice, Metformin). Four weeks was a course of treatment. The observed indexes include both curative effect indexes, such as clinic symptoms, FBG, 2hPBG, GSP, TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C and F-Ins and safety indexes, such as routine urine, blood and stool test, ECG, the function of live and kidney and harmful reaction.Results: Tangxhiqing recipe could ameliorate the clinic symptoms of the patients obviously. The difference was significant compared to the blank group (P＜0.05). Meantime, the patients’ blood sugar、Gsp、blood fat abated obviously compared to the treatment before, the insulin sensitivity index(ISI) rose, the insulin resistance and the function of theβcell of the islet abated.Conclusion: Tangzhiqing recipe has sure curative effected in treating type 2 diabetes mellitus associated with hyperlipemia. It is worth studying deeply and developing further.
