Clinical Studies Of Needle Scalpel Treatment Of Osteoarthritis Of The Knee

Objectives: To observe the efficacy of clinic treatment, to evaluate quantitively the resultof needle scalpel treating knee osteoarthritis, and to give a conclusion of its efficacy andsafety.Methods:80patients fitted the standard are randomly divided into treatment group andcontrol group with40patients for each group. Treatment group takes the needle scalpel totreat, once a week and four times for a course. The control group uses the acupuncturetreatment, once a day and six times a week made a course. Every week the data in this twogroups should be recorded including symptoms before and after treatment, signs of integral,numerical rating scale score, pain points and joint function, swelling of the score. After4weeks, the statistics should be compared and analyzed by SPSS17.0.Results:1.Both needle scalpel treatment and acupuncture treatment are in good efficacy.2.Treatment group has a rate of93.44%efficacy while the control group is85.71%, with astrong difference(P<0.01).3.After treatment, two groups become low in NRS scores, jointfunction scores and pain points, especially the treatment group(P<0.05).4.Both two groupsshow low in clinical symptoms and sign integral. Treatment group is superb to controlgroup(P<0.01).5.After treatment, two groups in swelling of the scores have improved,especially the treatment group(P<0.05).Conclusions: The main reason that causes knee osteoarthritis and restricted movement iscumulative damage of soft tissue around the knee joint, causing the local adhesion, scarand contracture. Needle scalpel release adhesion, dispel scar, contracture, lift the tensilestress and compress stress of imbalance, to restore the knee joint biomechanics balance,reaching the function of pain relief and knee recovery. Needle scalpel treatment of knee osteoarthritis has the features of curative effect, simple operation, and high safety.
