Background: Perimenopausal syndrome (PMS) mostly occurred in45-55years old, most of perimenopausal women have a variety of uncomfortable symptoms, like menstrualdisorder, menstrual cycle, menstrual period and menstrual blood volume’s change. Theyhave vasomotor symptoms such as hot flashes, sweating. The neuropsychiatric symptomshave agitation, irritability, irritable, depressed, not self-control, insomnia, memory loss, inability to concentrate, etc. The urogenital tract atrophy common vaginal dryness, dyspareunia, decreased quality of life, frequent micturition and so on. Because of thechanges in hormone levels,it can cause long-term harm, including cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and Alzheimer’s disease. As a statistical method,Meta-analysis could gain theresult of several studies that are combined into a number of values, and assessed by thenumber of values to literature values. The main advantages of Meta-analysis have severalaspects, as follows:Firstly, it can result in the same number of research topics that areconsistent systematic evaluation; Secondly, it enables researchers to discover new issues andprovide new ideas for research direction; Thirdly, it is not limit the object of study time;Fourthly, as a statistical methodology, it can be a subject of evaluation of stage design thatis reasonable; Fifthly, it allows researchers to see the prior studies which have not seen asingle representation of the problem; sixthly, it enables small sample statistics moreaccurate clinical trials. In this thesis, a comprehensive system of collecting Integrativetreatment of perimenopausal syndrome effectively versus the value of pure literature clinicaleffect of hormone replacement therapy for perimenopausal syndrome that it relatively strictinclusion and exclusion criteria developed, using Jadad scoring criteria for inclusion in theliterature quality assessment. Meta-analysis of the literature in order to guide the class inWestern medicine treatment of perimenopausal syndrome play a significant role in theclinical setting better, to achieve the best treatment of a variety of symptoms inperimenopausal syndrome that the research results for clinical application TCM providedthe necessity to treat the disease new path. Objective: Meta-analysis is a statistical method that research the Integrative treatmentof perimenopausal syndrome’s clinical effect of systematic evaluation. Methods: Through the PubMed database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals (VIP) retrieved from January2004to January2014,including all the combination therapy for perimenopausal sydrome,According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, to gain the formal articles. Randomizedcontrolled trial (RCT) documents must include the studies that assess the literature, according to Jadad scale score, score≥2that can be selected and Review Manager5.2software is applied for each set of data for analysis, concluded the treatment group and thecontrol group compared the efficacy of forest and funnel charts, according to the chart dataanalyse conclusion..Results: According to the standards included and excluded, and were screened out?Met the standard literature. Combination therapy group and hormone replacement therapyalone group compared to the first group combined OR=7.28,95%Cl=[4.88,10.86],Z=9.73,P<0.00001,and second group combined OR=5.16,95%Cl=[4.07,6.55],Z=13.5,That resultsin the combination therapy group than hormone replacement therapy alone group. Conclusion: The combination therapy of perimenopausal syndrome better than hormonereplacement therapy for perimenopausal syndrome.
