Objective:This study investigates the efficacy of acupuncture at the tongue and pharynx acupoints for pseudobulbar palsy dysphagia after cerebral infarction.Methods::The60cases of pseudobulbar palsy dysphagia after cerebral infarction patients were randomly divided into two groups according to in sequence of inpatients. Treatment group (n=30) and control group(n=30). Both groups base on same acupuncture method and procedure, for treatment group with more acupuncture treatment at the tongue and pharynx acupoints. Total is3sections, recorded the Swallowing function classification of two groups before and after the treatment, observed and compared the clinical effect.Results:1、 After the Treatment of pseudobulbar palsy dysphagia after cerebral infarction Mainly by acupuncture at the tongue and pharynx acupoint. According to function classification evaluation of the Swallowing, comparing the difference between control group before treatment and after treatment was statistically significant (P﹤0.01). Comparing the difference between treatment group before treatment and after treatment was statistically significant (P﹤0.01), comparing the difference between control group after treatment and treatment group after treatment was significant differences (P0.05). So the treatment group is better than control group.2、 Effective rate was reported in93.3%of the treatment group, compared to76.7%of the control group, showing a significant difference (P﹤0.05), so the treatment group is better than control group.Conclusion:1. Acupuncture at the tongue and pharynx acupoints for pseudobulbar palsy dysphagia after cerebral infarction could improve the swallowing function.The efficacy is all-roundly better than that of the comparison group. 2、 Acupuncture at the tongue and pharynx acupoints for pseudobulbar palsy dysphagia after cerebral infarction could be a safe and effective way.
