| Objective The aim of this thesis is to understand nurses safety culture cognitive status, to construct nurses’ core knowledge of safety training in nursing and to implement systematic safety training for some nurses and evaluate the effectiveness, to provide an effective basis for improving the care and safety training system and further carrying out the nurse safety culture teaching. Methods (1) Literature review, theoretical research, survey and combined with China’s national conditions, based on the nurses’ quality and safety education courses (QSEN) reference model, preliminary core knowledge of safety training system suitable for nurses.(2) Based on the Preliminary core knowledge of safety training system, according to the procedure and requirements of modules of enacting skills in basic nursing education, moduled the core knowledge of safety training system, similar knowledge down to the same modules, each module contains all knowledge of the same content, and form multiple modules, then form the nurse safety training system。(3) And then uses the Delphi expert consultation method to draw up a nurse safety knowledge training system for two rounds of expert consultation, eventually established suits the nurses’ core knowledge of safety training system in our country。(4) Select the clinical nursing staff from the Third XiangYa Hospital of Central South University, in line with the inclusion criteria, voluntary survey of nurses and125cases of training, using the system to train them. Training methods focus on classroom teaching which include two months30hours. Using Chinese nurse safety attitude questionnaire (C-SAQ) and nurses’ cognitive about adverse events questionnaire,"the nurse safety training course" gives the feedback evaluation, to evaluate the training effect.(5) The statistical data was analyzed by the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)16.0, and the strategies included descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple linear regression analysis. Results (1) The Survey on the current nurses’perception of safety culture. Nurses’attitudes of safety culture had average scores (3.35~4.29), Five factors in descending order according to the questionnaire score were perception of management, safety climate, job satisfaction, teamwork climate, stress perception, work condition Statistically significant difference exists in nurses’s afety attitudes including different education background, service years, age and position (P<0.05).The score of nursing adverse events reporting is (12.74±1.81).(2) Construct nurses’ core knowledge of safety training. Safety training content on the degree of importance of five dimensions mean level of>3.5, experts have a high degree of recognition of safety training knowledge. After two rounds of expert consultation to the final establishment of appropriate training of nursing staff knowledge of safety is divided into five dimensions, thirty-six knowledge points. Including the interpretation of the safety culture; nursing adverse events reporting and processing; nursing risk assessment and management; nurses’ own safety and psychological assessment; prevention and treatment of medical dispute.(3)The study on implementation and evaluation of nursing safety knowledge system. There were statistically significant difference in nurses’ safety attitudes before and after the training (P<0.05); There were statistically significant difference in nurses’ cognitive of adverse events report before and after the training (P<0.05); Nurse has good feedback after training. Conclusions (1) The nurse safety culture cognitive to be further improved optimized and further improved. Safety attitude is in medium to high level but still inadequate, there is no adequate safety behavior, so urgent needed systematic training and education。(2) It provides theory basis for the safety training for hospital to construct nurses’ core knowledge of safety training, which is scientific and feasible.(3) The implementation of safety training is actively promoted to enhance the safety awareness of nurses, to improve the level of care and safety management, to create a hospital safety culture. |
