Objective:The purpose is to observe the effect of the local acupoint application with rhubarb-, glauber’s salt, etc for diabetes constipation and provide the basis of the application of acupoint sticking therapy for diabetes constipation in clinical; to research the effect of temperature on the efficacy of acupoint sticking therapy, to explore the role of temperature factor for the point sticking therapy and optimize acupoint sticking therapy treatment, and provide the basis for acupoint sticking therapy clinical optimization.Method:90diabetic patients with constipation coming from the endocirne department of Jiangsu Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).The design is a randomized controlled trial, the patients are divided into three groups, namely cistanche laxative group, acupoint sticking group and warming acupoint sticking group. The three groups are accepted general hypoglycemic therapy and diabetes constipation related health education. The cistanche laxative group:BREE laxative oral solution15ml/day in the morning, seven days for a course of treatment. Acupoint sticking group was treated with Chinese medicine cake agent sticking Shenque daily in the morning, if defecation, instant remove the acupoint sticking, total sticking time≤6h, changed daily, seven days for a course of treatment; warming acupoint application group on the basis of the acupoint application group sticking warm baby stickers covering the acupoint sticking, and also seven days for a course of treatment. Measuring glycated serum protein、CCS、QOL-PA、SAS、SDS and so on before and after the two courses. At last, analyzing and summarizing the resulte data with the statistical software spss15.0.Results:Baseline data:three groups of gender, age, duration of diabetes, constipation duration, glycated serum protein (GSP), body mass index (BMI), constipation severe degree of (CCS), the survival of patients with constipation, the quality of self-rating scale (PAC-QOL) Anxiety Rating Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) were no differences (P>0.05) and comparable. The result of the three group therapy:the cistanche laxative group13%were cured,30%Significant effective,30%effective,27%ineffective, the total efficiency is73%; the acupoint sticking group23%were cured,23%Significant effective,37%effective,17%ineffective, the total efficiency is83%; the warming acupoint sticking group20%were cured,27%Significant effective,63%effective,10%ineffective, the total efficiency is90%.CCS scores:prior to the intervention of the cistanche laxative group15.47±0.79, after the intervention8.13±0.62; prior to the intervention of acupoint sticking group14.40±0.85, after the intervention5.90±0.56; prior to the intervention of warming acupoint sticking group14.40±0.57, after the intervention 6.63±0.60, three groups before and after intervention, P<0.05, significant difference; Compare the three groups after the intervention:acupoint sticking group is better than the cistanche laxative group (P<0.05), for acupoint sticking group and warming acupoint sticking group, the difference was not statistically significant. Defecation time (h):the the cistanche laxative group4.52±0.22; acupoint sticking group3.86±0.23; warming acupoint application group3.62±0.26, compare the three groups, P=0.021,the differences were statistically significant and the acupuncture points Sticking group to better than the cistanche laxative group, warming acupoint sticking group was superior to the acupoint sticking group. Psychological and quality of life indicators:treatment of former SAS and SDS mild to moderate incidence were70%and72%, SAS, SDS, PAC-QOL before and after treatment, P<0.05, the difference was statistically significant; among the3groups after intervention Comparison:SAS, SDS was no difference; PAC-QOL scale in four dimensions, including physical, psychological, satisfaction differences (P <0.01), the difference of the worrying (P=0.19) was not statistically significance. Glycated serum protein (μmol/L):prior to the intervention of the cistanche laxative group282±5.76, after treatment270.1±6.74; prior to the intervention of acupoint sticking group272.9±5.10, after treatment239.77±4.45; prior to the intervention of warming acupoint sticking group269.53±5.84, after treatment233.83±5.12, the GSP of three groups before and after intervention was statistically significant; comparison of three groups after treatment:acupoint application group and warming acupoint application group are better than the cistanche laxative group (P<0.05), acupoint sticking group compared with the warming acupoint application group, the difference was not statistically significant. BMI index (kg/m2):prior to the intervention of the cistanche laxative group24.70±0.56, after treatment24.75±0.49; prior to the intervention of acupoint sticking group25.02±0.65, after treatment24.54±0.57; prior to the intervention of warming acupoint sticking group25.92±0.63, after treatment24.72±0.46, the three groups before and after comparison P=0.03, the difference was statistically significant and no significant differences during the groups after treatment. Conclusion:Shenque point acupoint sticking can significantly improve the symptoms of diabetes constipation; beneficial to the improvement of constipation is also good for glycemic control; thermal effects can promote absorption of drugs for the the acupoint sticking, and also shorten the first bowel movement.
