The Clinical Observation Of ShenZhuYangXue Decoction For The Blood Deficiency Of Hypomenorrhea

ObjectiveTo observe the before and post-treatment improvement of clinical symptoms and evaluate the clinical efficacy of the ShenZhuYangXue decoction through using ShenZhuYangXue decoction to treat the blood deficiency of Hypomenorrhea Patients. The project was to estimate comprehensively the efficacy that ShenZhuYangXue decoction treats the blood deficiency of Hypomenorrhea Patients through detecting the endometrial thickness, variations of the uterine spiral arteries’resistance index (RI) and pulsatility index (PI), and discuss the mechanism.Methodscollecting observing objects from mentor teacher’s out-patient of Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine during March,2011and December,2012, and all of the observing objects should correspond with the diagnostic criteria of the blood deficiency of Hypomenorrhea. In this group, there are72cases that are required to take ShenZhuYangXue decoction orally. And observing patients’menstrual blood volume, curative efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome of hemodynamic parameter changes of the uterine spiral arteries after the first, second and third course. Observing the endometrial thickness, variations of the uterine spiral arteries’resistance index (RI)、pulsatility index (PI) and adverse reactions before and after treatment. Assessing the clinical curative effects that ShenZhuYangXue decoction treats the blood deficiency of Hypomenorrhea Patients comprehensively through credits of syndromes and auxiliary examination.Results 1. Curative effects of regulating menstruation:In these72cases, after the treatment, there are21patients’menstrual blood volume returns to normal (29.17%). And24cases menstrual blood volume return to the two thirds of normal volume (33.33%),19cases menstrual blood volume return to the a half of normal volume (26.39%), while8cases menstrual blood volume have no curative effects (11.11%). And the total effect rate is88.89%. Among them, the total effect rate of a course is66.67%, while2courses is78.57%and3courses is87.69%.2. Curative effects of TCM syndromes:in these72cases, after the treatment,20patients get to recovery (27.78%),27cases get excellent curative effect (37.50%),18cases get effects (25.00%),7cases are invalid effects (9.72%), the total curative effect is90.28%. Among them, the total effect rate of a course is61.11%, while2courses is77.14%and3courses is89.23%.3. Comparing with the premenstruum endometrial thickness before and after the treatment, which exists statistical significance P<0.05.; there are no statistical significance in the uterine spiral arteries’ pulsatility index (PI) before and after treatment (p>0.05), while the uterine spiral arteries’ resistance index (RI) has statistical significance before and after treatment (p<0.05).4. Treatment process did not appear obvious adverse reactions.5. There are no correlation between age and curative effect; the longer the course of disease, the worse the curative effects will be; the more of taking abortion, the worse the curative effects will be.ConclusionShenZhuYangXue decoction have significant effects on blood deficiency of Hypomenorrhea which can obviously increase the volume of menstrual, improve the color quality and improve the period. Also it can improve simultaneous phenomenon of blood deficiency of Hypomenorrhea, while it can promote increases and blood perfusion of endometrium. In the treatment process did not appear obvious adverse reactions, clinical application to compare safety.
