Investigate And Analyze On The Establishment And Management Status About Community Residents’ Health Records Of Hefei City

Objectives The awareness of community health care workers about health recordswere surveyed,so as to provide basic information for improving the quality of healthrecords. To investigate the utilization of health records,so as to providing basis forimproving the efficiency of community health service.The management of healthrecords were surveyed,so as to provide work way for guiding community doctors andnurses to update, improve health records. To investigate the establishment of healthrecords,so as to provide methods for effectively to carry out the health records.Methods With the method of a cluster sampling,the doctors and nurses of all thecommunity health service centers from6administrative region of Hefei City wereselected as the research object,By the self-designed questionnaire,to survey the basicinformation,personnel composition, the business situation, service capability,healthrecords management, etc..To investigate the individual to doctors and nurses ingeneral situation, the understanding of health records, the use of health records, healthrecords management, the establishment of health records and suggestions to theestablishment,the management and use of health records, etc. By EpiData3.1inputsoftware, all data were statisticed and analyzed by using the SPSS11.0software, usingthe method of descriptive statistical analysis, to analysis the present situation to thedoctors and nurses of Hefei about understanding,establishment, use,management of theresidents’ health records, and rate were compared by the chi-square test.Results (1)972doctors and nurses of the community health service centers from6administrative region of Hefei City were surveyed.The proportion of generalpractitioners and nurses were49.9%,50.1%respectively.The proportion of technical secondary school, college, undergraduate, graduate and above were16.2%,56.7%,26.4%and0.7%respectively. The proportion of no professional title, primaryprofessional title, intermediate professional title, senior title of professional were11.7%,67.3%,19.6%and1.4%respectively.(2) The proportion about the object ofinvestigation for the necessity, the continuity, the quality of health records and theunderstanding of health records effect were81.0%,78.8%,95.3%and70.7%respectively.(3) The proportion about the object of investigation for thinking healthrecords practical, improving the service efficiency, useing health records actively,referencing health records were55.2%,50.4%,57.6%and54.8%respectively.(4)77.4%of doctors and nurses in community health service centers of Hefei City could recordtimely, supplement and perfect all the residents’ health records information collected.(5)The community health service centers established health records by mainly usingpaper records and community health management information system, and used lessany of them alone.(6)75.8%of doctors and nurses could record timely the informationcollected by chronic noncommunicable diseases and follow-up information.(7)Doctorsand nurses could actively established health records for focus groups with strongerconsciousness.(8)87.6%of the staff had accepted the knowledge training of the basicskills and requirements about establishing, using and managing health records.The staffwho accepted training are mainly tertiary or secondary technical college educated andprimary,intermediate title.(9)The community health service centers of the streets,residents’ committees basically could give an active cooperation in the course ofestablishing health records,but residents’ cooperating degree of establishing health filesis lower.Conclusion Doctors and nurses have a reasonable configuration in the communityhealth service centers in Hefei city,but the shortage of the number,the talent structureneeds to be adjusted, with a lack of highly educated, high professionaltitles.Understanding degree of the function of health files is higher.Utilization of archives is general.Health services centers generally take paper files and communityhealth management information system as management tool.The managements tohealth records of chronic noncommunicable diseases and focus groups is better.Thestreets and residents’ committees support and cooperate well in the process ofestablishing health files, but residents’ cooperating degree is poor.Strengtheningpersonnel training, improving the utilization of health records, increasing publicity andeducation to the residents have a great significance on the current development ofcommunity health service.
