The Survey Of Community Health Service In Wuhua District,Kunming

Community health service (CHS) is an important part of national medical treatment and health service and medical treatment system which is related to the benefit of every citizen and the development of the society and the country. Community health service is also the footstone of everyone’s enjoying the basic public health service. Community health service organizations play as the gatekeeper in national medical treatment system whose duty is to offer basic medical treatment and health care.But in reality, this gatekeeper is not an easy job.Influenced by the government policies and supplies,residents medical need, community medical personnel etc., community health service in China still need us work together to improve it.This thesis is aimed at exploring the situation and problems of the community health service in Kunming and come up with solutions to improve it. Based on the summary of the development of community health service in China and abroad and the data from the health bureau, hospital and health service organizations of Wuhua District, this thesis analyzed the policy implementing situation here and development.After the survey, many problems about community health service are found: treatment system didn’t work smoothly; general practitioners are severely lacking; the comprehensive quality of medical personnel is relatively low; the medical infrastructure construction and facilities are lacking;the medical information sharing network isn’t completed.Combined with the new requirement of city medical treatment development, the solutions are as follows:1.For the government, to build the first-treatment system in the community-level and the two-way referral system; complete the General practitioner training system; build themedical information sharing network;enhance the policies support and the performance assessment system.2.For citizens, improve their acquitance of the First-treatmen systemt in the community-level and the Two-way Referral System and raise their satisfaction of community doctors.3.For community health service organizations, enhance the infrastructure construction and the training of medical personnel; build and complete the stimulating system and the performance assessment system; guarantee medical safety and quality; extend the functions of community health services; develop Chinese traditional medicine service.4.For medical personnel, build the mutual trust between residents and doctors and improve the comprehensive quality of medical personnel and their service.
