| objective:Observing the clinical effect of Tiao Jing Zhong Yu pills in curing the patient who has menstrual disorder due to Luteal Phase Defect caused by Asthenia of kidney and Stagnation of liver-energy, and comparing the effect of the medicine with the Yixue Sheng capsule. The effectiveness and safety of Tiao Jing Zhong Yu pills are Estimated, and the potential mechanism of ameliorating the Luteal Function is discussed to expand the range of its clinical application.Methods:56patients who has menstrual disorder due to Luteal Phase Defect caused by Asthenia of kidney and Stagnation of liver-energy were divided into two groups by randomized one-blind control method. The30cases of treatment group were given Tiao Jing Zhong Yu pills by oral treatment, while the26cases of control group took the Yixue Sheng capsule orally. All the patients of two groups took the medicine when basal body temperature started rising and stoped taking when menorrhea comes. After three months, we evaluated the clinical effect and observed the condition on clinical symptom, Mid luteal progesterone levels, the BBT type and HPS grade. After statistical analysis, the efficiency was measured.Results:After three menstrual cycles, with statistics analysis, varying degrees of amelioration have been found in all patients of two groups on clinical symptoms and laboratory indexes. The total effective rate of treatment group has reached96.7%, which is obviously higher than control group. There are no statistics differences on general and clinical data among the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05). After the treatment, the conditions of menstrual symptoms, Asthenia of kidney, Stagnation of liver-energy and TCM symptoms on patients in the treatment group have improved considerably compared with the control group. Before and after the therapy, five test results of sex hormone indicate that Tiao Jing Zhong Yu pills can improve the level of E2and reduce the level PRL, which has statistics significance compared with the control group(P<0.05). There are apparent differences between the type of BBT and HPS grade, with longer HPS and trend to be stable, while the speed of increase becomes sharp and considerable. And there is no adverse drug reaction during the clinical medication.Conclusion:Tiao Jing Zhong Yu pills can invigorate the kidney and soothing the liver-qi, which has obvious curative effect to cure Luteal Phase Defect caused by Asthenia of kidney and Stagnation of liver-energy, and it is safe in clinical applications. It works with hypothalamus-hypophysis-Ovary gonad axis, promoting the secretion of gonadotropin, adding the support of blood in the ovary, and ameliorating endometrial microcirculation. It can facilitate the secretion of progesterone, perfect corpus luteum and cure LPD safely and effectively, which deserves to be promoted. |
