Clinical Research On The Treatment Of Luteal Phase Defect Menstrual Disorder By The Therapy Of "Invigorating The Kidney And Promoting Blood Circulation"

ObjectiveLuteal phase defect (LPD) is a kind syndrome lead by hypogenesis and degenerate prematurity of the corpus luterm, or atrophy of corpus luteum period prolonged, or the misadventure reaction to progestational houmone of endometrium. About3.5%to20%of infertility,35%of early miscarriage, and4%to6%of habitual abortion are caused by LPD. In this issue, by researching the clinical curative effect of "Invigorating the kidney and Promoting blood circulation" on menstrual disorder caused by LPD, and comparating with another group treated with dydrogesterone, to make preliminary evaluation about the clinical effect of "Invigorating the kidney and Promoting blood circulation", and discuss the possible mechanism. To provide safe as well as superiorte precept to treating with menstrual disorder caused by LPD.Making full use of the advantage of traditional Chinese medicine about "prevention before disease onset" and "treating the different disease with same method". Hope for decrease the incidence rate of infertility and early miscarriage.MethodsSelect45cases meet the inclusion criteria of kidney weaknes which caused by LPD. Set a treatment group as30cases which treated with "Invigorating the kidney and Promoting blood circulation", and also set a matched group which treated with dydrogesterone. Take three menstrual cycles as one course. After this course, observe and contrast the changes of patients’ menstrual cycle, menstrual period, menstrual valume, basal body temperature, progesterone(P), estrogen(E2) and TCM clinical concomitant symptoms.Results 1. The excellent effective of treatment group was30%and the total effective rate was90%, while the control group was13.3%and73.3%. The post-treatment quantization index of treatment group was marked different with pre-therapy (P=0.027), while there was no statistically significant difference with matched group (P=0.395)2. There was statistically significant difference on menstrual between the treatment group and the matched group, including menstrual cycle, menstrual period, menstrual valume, basal body temperature, progesterone (P), estrogen(E2) and TCM clinical concomitant symptoms. The treatment group was more effective.3. Company to the matched group, the treatment group had more advantage on improving basal body temperature, legthen the high tenpeture time and elevate the temperature difference, but there was no statistically significant difference with matched group.4. The level of P and P/E2in midluteal phase could be increased in the two group. The improvement of progesterone in the matched group was more excelled than treatment group, and the difference was significant(P=0.006) The level of E2could be increased in small extent of the two group, and the treatment group was dominant a little.ConclusionThe therapy of "Invigorating the kidney and Promoting blood circulation" could benefit the kidney yin and yang, it had reliable efficacy in treating menstrual disorder caused by LPD and that reflected the theory called "treating the different diseases with same method" in traditional Chinese medicine.
