A Study About The Role Of Board Game Group Work In The Treatment Of Alzheimer’s Disease

With the transformation of modern medicine pattern, treatments of alzheimer’s disease become diverse, from the past single treatment to the comprehensive and whole treatment, namely on the basis of drug therapy, that develop the acupuncture and moxibustion therapy, psychological and social treatment and rehabilitation training, which are the non-drug treatment and look patients as the center. Social work is a non-drug treatments, but the current use of social work intervention to alzheimer’s disease is still in the exploratory stage of theory, practice experience is relatively lack. In view of the existing research at home and abroad, this paper mainly discusses the following problems:1.whether group work influences on the rehabilitation of Alzheimer’s patients;2. if so, this impact is positive or negative;3. to explore the treatment results of board game group for alzheimer’s disease;4. analyze the reason and promote effectivly the common development of such group activities in institutional pension.Using method is as follows:select16alzheimer’s patients from Xixiang geracomium, Baoan district, Shenzhen according to the simple mental state assessment scale(MMSE), Blessed behavior scale (BBS) and nerve psychiatric questionnaire (NPI) three scale measurement, and records test data. Using the paired sample method to classify these16patients equally into two groups, and mainly consider the age, gender, level of education, as well as the predicted results and so on, The more similar two patients is divided into a group, and divied them into control group and experimental group in accordance with the simple random sampling method, pointing with eight groups. The control group is only given conventional nursing, while the experimental group on the premise of routine nursing, is again given board game group. After the group, once again tests the two groups respectively, and records the data, the last, assesses patients’changes in cognitive function, behavioral symptoms and nerve mental symptoms. The experimental result shows:1. Scale score of control group and experimental group before and after treatment have significant difference, just the control group changes toward the negative side, but the experimental group changes toward the positive side.2. The scale score of experimental group is better than the control group.3. the score of NPI of experimental group changes distinctly.Following conclusions can be drawn from this study:1. The board game group can improve alzheimer’s patients’cognitive function, behavioral symptoms and nerve mental symptoms to a certain extent, that is to say, the group work has a positive effect on alzheimer’s patients’rehabilitation.2. The patients who are not given any treatment measures have a tendency to increase, stating that we can’t let alzheimer’s disease has its swing development.3. The board game group work prominently effects on the alzheimer’s patients’nerve mental symptoms, stating that group work has a great effect on the rehabilitation of alzheimer’s patients’nerve mental symptoms.
