Group Work Study On Prevention Of Alzheimer's Disease In Community

With the improvement of aging in China,hospitals,welfare homes and various pension institutions have carried out different levels of Alzheimer's disease prevention work,but the community level of practice and research related to Alzheimer's disease prevention work is still relatively lacking.From the perspective of group social work,this paper explores ways and means to effectively prevent Alzheimer's disease at the community level.This worker mainly selected community residents aged between 55 and 65 who had no Alzheimer's disease but suffered from chronic diseases as service objects.Based on activity theory and social support theory,group activities are carried out to enrich the theoretical knowledge of Alzheimer's disease prevention among the members and to exercise their preventive skills so as to achieve the goal of improving their ability to prevent Alzheimer's disease.From practice and observation,we can know that the group is a dynamic and living aggregation.Interaction between the group and the external environment,between the group members,between the group members and staff members,between the group members and the group will produce interaction effects,including interpersonal,behavioral,emotional and cognitive effects.Therefore,group activities can not only effectively help members build a mutual support network.,it can also improve the social support system of team members.In addition,team members can also spread their knowledge and skills related to Alzheimer's disease prevention to the outside world by interacting with the outside environment,so as to expand the influence of the team.In this paper,unstructured interviews,questionnaires and participatory observation are used to observe and record the situation in the early,middle and late stages of the group.Finally,the workers analyze the development of the status of the service objects in the group to prove that social work services really play a positive role in the prevention of Alzheimer's disease in the community,in order to provide a reference for social work to better intervene in community-level prevention of Alzheimer's disease.
