Objective:To research the change and relative metabolic indices of serum omentin,bone mineral density and its relationship between macroangiopathy and Microangiopathy for patients with type2diabetes mellitus(T2DM), To provide theory basis for prevention of diabetes, osteoporosis, dyslipidemia, and chronic complications such as macroangiopathy and microangiopathy.Research object and methods:We used case-control method to set up separately type2diabetes group and normal group.Choose101T2DM patients from the endocrine department and20healthy cases accepting the examination of yanbian hospital in2011. Record message such as:gender,age, nationality, body mass index(BMI), fasting blood glucose (FBG), postprandial blood glucose (PBG), Hemoglobin Alc(HbA1C),triglyceride(TG), low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), total cholesterol(CHO), bone mineral density (BMD) and so on. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detect fasting serum omentin. Carotid artery color doppler ultrasound examination should be taken routinely. Bone mineral density(BMD) measured with ultrasound bone densitometer.Results:(1) The level of serum omentin of patients with T2DM (5.36±1.27)pg/L was obviously lower than normal group (12.28±3.34) pg/L (P<0.05)。(2) The level of serum omentin of obese patients with T2DM (7.15±2.08) pg/L was lower than normal weight group (13.58±1.99) pg/L, while the level of serum omentin of obese patients was lower than overweight patients, it was statistically significant.(3) The level of serum omentin of carotid atherosclerotic plaque with T2DM (4.34±1.50) pg/L obviously lower than no carotid atherosclerotic plaque (10.86±2.66) pg/L (P<0.05) The level of serum omentin of microangiopathy with T2DM lower than no microangiopathy.(4) Multifactor statistical analysis showed that we used serum omentin as the dependent factor, and used BMI、age、HbA1C、FBG、PBG、BMD、 TG、LDL-C、HDL-C、CHO as the independent variables. As a result, the level of serum omentin was negative correlation with BMI,the level of serum omentin was positive correlation with BMD and HDL, with the difference being statistically significant. We used BMD as the dependent factor, and used BMI、HbA1C、FBG、 PBG、Omentin、TG、LDL、HDL、CHO as the independent variables. The result is that the BMD was positive correlation with BMI and serum omentin, and the BMD was negative correlation with age、HbA1C.(5) The BMD was negative correlation with patient’ course of disease、age、weight,BMI、HbA1C have no correlation with the Osteoporotic.Conclusions:(1) The level of serum omentin was correlated with T2DM, carotid atherosclerosis and microvascular lesions.(2) The level of serum omentin was negatively correlated with BMI, bone mineral density and HDL were positively correlated with serum omentin, It may participate in the formation of sugar, lipid metabolic disorder.(3) Bone mineral density were correlated with the course of the disease, age, HbA1C, and BMI.
