Objective By detecting type2diabetes, cerebral infarction non-diabetic and type2diabeticpatients with cerebral infarction Omentin-1changes (Omentin-1) levels to clear the relationshipbetween Omentin-1and cerebral infarction.,and explore the role Omentin-1in it.Methods Double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay detected serumOmentin-1in differents people (30healthy subjects,33cases of type2diabetes mellitus,33casesof non-diabetic patients with cerebral infarction,30cases of cerebral infarction in patients withtype2diabetes mellitus). To abtain sample absorbance (A value) by microplate reader (450nm),drawed the standard curve, and converted the test sample A value to a relative Omentin-1concentration.Meanwhile, calculated body mass index, detected blood lipid [total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C)],glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc) and fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and other biochemicalmarkers.Analyse the relationship between serum Omentin-1and HbAlc, FPG.Results1.Type2diabetes group,type2diabetes mellitus with cerebral infarction group HbAlcand FPG levels were significantly elevated, serum Omentin-1levels were significantly lower (P <0.05or P<0.01), TC levels in type2diabetes and type2diabetic patients with cerebral infarctiongroup was significantly higher(P<0.01).2.The cerebral infarction non-diabetic group,type2diabetes mellitus with cerebral infarction group Omentin-1serum levels were significantlylower(P<0.05). Serum Omentin-1have negatively relationship with HbAlc and FPG(r=-0.264,-0.285,P <0.01).Conclusions Omentin-1in the cerebral infarction and type2diabetes patients were low, incerebral infarction with type2diabetes patients were significantly lower. Therefore, the studyof serum omentin-1in cerebral infarction patients may provid a new biological meansfor the diagnosis and prognosis of cerebral infarction from glucose and lipidmetabolism.
