The Analysis Of Cancer Incidence And Mortality Status Monitoring In Tongxiang City From2006to2010

ObjectiveAlong with our country the aging of the population intensified, lifestyle changes and other economic and environmental impact, since the1970’s, the number of death from malignant tumor in our country show clear ascendant trend, malignant tumor has become a danger to human life and health of one of the major diseases. According to the world health organization (WHO) estimates that there are9million new cancer cases worldwide each year, every year there are about5million die from cancer, malignant tumor is becoming the first killer of human in the new century, control the tumor is the focus of the global health strategy. The purpose of this thesis to through the analysis of the monitoring situation of the morbidity and mortality of malignant tumor in TongXiang city, and reveals the distribution regularities, providing a scientific strategy for comprehensive prevention and treatment of malignant tumors.MethodsThrough the statistics analysis of newly diagnosed cancer cases and cancer deaths data during the period of January1,2006to December31,2010in Tongxiang city. Collection of malignant tumor by medical institutions, primary monitoring organization report, the report of investigation, cremation lists various ways such as death case. Export data of chronic disease monitoring network data and China disease control information monitoring system, analyzing by SPSS16.0.ResultsThe top five of incidence of malignant tumors were lung cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, breast cancer. The top five of the male incidence rate of malignant tumor were lung cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer, colon cancer, esophageal cancer. The top five of female malignant tumor incidence were breast cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer.With the increase of age, the incidence of malignant tumor is present and the rising trend, incidence rate of increase scope is also bigger, male and female incidence peak position in the80～84age group.85years old age group the incidence began to fall. The incidence of30～49age group was higher in women than in men, but50years old age group of male cancer incidence rate increased rapidly, significantly higher than the same age group of women.From malignant tumor death report, total of5476cases in Tongxiang city from2006to2010,3688cases of male patients (67.35%),1788cases of women (32.65%), male to female ratio was2.06:1. From2006to2010, the number of deaths due to malignant tumors become the first of various kinds of cause of death. All deaths from2006to2010, malignant tumor has always been the first cause of death.Whether male or female, malignant tumor mortality to increase with age, with the age growing, rate mortality was increasing, reached a peak in the70～74age group, over75years old age group the mortality rate decreases. The35～84age group of male age-specific death rates are higher than female, the death rate of malignant tumor of the men over55years old age group to rise more rapidly, the death rate of malignant tumor was significantly higher than that of the same age group of women. Tumor mortality rates among the top five, respectively for lung cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, esophageal cancer. the top five of Male mortality rates, respectively for lung cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer, esophageal cancer and colorectal cancer; Female mortality is located in the top five for lung cancer, liver cancer, colon cancer, gastric cancer, breast cancer.ConclusionAccording to the analysis of the result, malignant tumor incidence is rising in Tongxiang city during2006-2010, standardized incidence rate increased from162.22/10to168.58/10million. Male cancer incidence and mortality rates are higher than the female, and the upward trend.The top five of the incidence of malignant tumors were lung cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, breast cancer. Lung cancer is the most common malignant tumor, the top five of the malignancies were lung cancer, liver cancer, gastric cancer, colon cancer, esophageal cancer, the male incidence and mortality of lung cancer ranked first, Lung cancer is the highest mortality in female, morbidity ranked second. At present, the lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumor in the world, and has become the main cause of the human deaths from cancer, regarded as the world’s largest health and life hazards on human malignant tumors. Lung cancer is the main disease caused by environmental factors, including smoking is an important risk factor, so tobacco control has a positive meaning.The study found the incidence of female breast cancer incidence rate has occupied the first place in women, mortality in female malignant tumor accounted for fifth, is the main tumor disease that threatens the health of women, with high BMI, benign breast diseases biopsy history, late menarche, menopause, family history of breast cancer and tumor family history (except for breast cancer) have close relationship with breast cancer.And passive smoking women lead to the risk of breast cancer than those without passive smoking1.94times higher risk. Breast cancer is one of the few internationally recognized by early discovery, early diagnosis and early treatment to reduce the mortality of tumor. Therefore, strengthen breast cancer screening in women, early discovery, early diagnosis and early treatment, to minimize the harm of breast cancer for women’s health and life.Analysis the age distribution, the elderly are at high risk of cancer. Residents have different incidence of death of malignant tumor in different ages, different age groups to focus on different tumor category, the early screening and health promotion work for malignant tumor in the crowd, is an important measure to reduce the morbidity and mortality of malignant tumor, to achieve early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment.At present, malignant tumor is the lack of effective treatment in medicine, so prevention and control work is very important. An active interest in different ages of different tumor category, promoting three level prevention of tumor, community intervention, strengthen health education and behavior of malignant tumor, publicize the knowledge of prevention and control intervention, regular health examination, health missionary, reduce or slow tumor, to improve the residents quality of life and health of Tongxiang city.
