Objective: Understanding of the status of medical disputes of domestic andforeign medical institutions through literature, summarize the characteristics of medicaldisputes under the new situation, study the problems of tension in doctor-patientrelationship in recent years, analyze the main reasons for high incidence of medicaldisputes, put forward the suggestions to prevent the medical disputes to ease thedoctor-patient relationship. Create a good medical work environment. Provide thepolicy and strategic reference for the sustainable development of the medical and healthservices.Methods: Through literature research methods to analyze the status andcharacteristics of medical disputes at home and abroad, learn from the solutions totension physician-patient relationship of foreign medical and health institutions,combined with China’s national conditions, to make constructive suggestions to reducethe occurrence of medical disputes. Description and single factor analysis statisticalanalysis of the Liaoning Province of a hospital medical dispute cases in the four years2007-2010, EXCEL forms for data entry, use the SPSS11.5Statistics generaldescriptive statistical analysis software for date.Results: By means of the empirical Analysis of cases of medical disputes of ahospital in Liaoning Province that took place in the year2007to2010. By means of theanalysis of related factors of the hospital medical disputes, we find the following results:1.Year by year increase in the number of medical disputes resolved in litigation.2. Themajority of patients with medical disputes are elderly patients.3. The surgery is thehighest rate of medical disputes department.4. Complaints in cases of medical disputes,the patients the lack of rational knowledge of the medical effects, the majority are notsatisfied with the clinical results of complaints.5. The most complaints of unsatisfied with the medical staff complaints in medical ethics are care issues.6. The medicalrecords of complaints in the hospital management of complaints are in the first place.7.Led to the complaints of the high cost of medical expenses complaints, in addition tohealth care workers not covered obligation to inform the majority of medical institutionsin charge of complaints.Conclusion: By means of the empirical Analysis of cases of medical disputes of ahospital in Liaoning Province that took place in the year2007to2010.We found thatconslusions:1. Studies have shown that the number of medical disputes in the past four years,increases and decreases, but the increase or decrease in, basically to maintain a certainhorizontal line. Illustrate that the prevention of medical disputes has been a little ofprogress basically, need to further explore and analyze the deep reasons for the highmedical disputes.2. Medical disputes to occur has a variety of reasons, not only the medical factors,patient factors, but also social factors have played a certain role in promoting. In thisstudy, the main reason for high incidence of medical disputes include: clinical results,medical ethics problem, hospital management issues and medical expenses.3. This article draw on foreign medical safety management experience, combinedwith China’s national conditions and medical status, actively explore appropriatecountermeasures of the frequent occurrence to prevent medical disputes from the macroand micro, put forward the constructive suggestions to earnestly solve the tensedoctor-patient relationship, to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, topromote the development of health services.
