Diarrheal disease was a common disease of dog, a variety of causes made it difficult to diagnose, treat clinically. This study aimed to diagnose and treat the diarrhea disease of six dogs, and then analysed the diversity of bacterium in dog’s fecal used denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis before and after the rehabilitation. Therefore,we can find out the connection between the diarrheal disease and intestinal flora and explain the pathogenesis of diarrheal disease, and finally provid a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of the diarrheal disease of dog. This study focuses three typical diarrheal disease, which cause diarrhea of dog.The three are canine parvovirus, canine distemper and general diarrhea. The main content and results of this study are as follows:1. Determine of clinical indicators:the clinical indicators of each group were inconsistent. The breathing, heartbeat and temperature of the dogs suffering from canine distemper were significantly higher, the clinical indicators of the dogs suffering from canine parvovirus and suffering from general diarrhea were normal, it showed that the degree of illness of the dogs in canine distemper was serious, the other two groups were relatively mild.2. Hematologic studies:collecting the blood of each dog, and have blood tests. In the results of tests, the total number of leukocytes of the dogs suffering from canine parvovirus and canine distemper decreased significantly, but the ratio of the lymphocyte increased significantly, the large number was up to96%, the lowest one was73%,it proved they were suffering from viral diseases. The total number of leukocytes of the dogs suffering from general diarrhea increased significantly, in which the ratio of neutrophils increased significantly, the large one was up to70%, the lowest one was64%, it indicated that this group might be suffering from bacterial enteritis or colitis. In the test results of blood biochemical, the indicators did not change significantly, most of which were in the normal range substantially. The concentration of Na+, Cl-, Ca2+changed much, the cause of this phenomenon might be due to the loss of body water because of diarrhea. 3.The dipstick test of CDV and CPV:in the results, the CDV test strip of distemper group was a positive reaction, as well as the CPV test strip, two lines appeared on both strips, the T and the C.The test strip of CDV and CPV in general diarrhea was negative reaction, and there was only a line(the C) appearing.lt indicated the resulets were the same with the one diagnosed before.4.Treatment results of the sicken dogs:the general diarrhea group got conventional treatment, such as adding water and electrolytes, enhancing immunity, the application of proteomics and antibiotics, and so on.And they restored health in3d.The two others toke the conventional treatment and the application of hyperimmune serum, specific immunoglobulin and interferon, the distemper group restored health in15d,the other in5d.5.The analysis of structure and diversity of dog’s intestinal flora by PCR-DGGE: As it can be seen from the PCR-DGGE fingerprinting of the dog’s intestinal flora that the total number of strip after rehabilitation was more than the one before rehabilitation, which showed that the diversity of dog’s intestinal flora after rehabilitation was richer through the treatment. The similar degree of dog’s fecal samples before rehabilitation was higher, the highest similar degree was up to96%, the lowest one was73%,it showed that the extent of the damage about the intestinal flora was the same in the different diarrheas; and the similar degree of dog’s fecal samples after rehabilitation was low, the highest one was only95%, the lowest one58%, this situation might be because of the different degrees of vesting.
