With the spurt in vehicle development, China’s industrial-scale of auto parts grows very fast. Now the modern mode of new product development changes from production process design model (based on drawings) to parallel product design and process design mode with customer. Theoretical and knowledge are widely used in auto parts product development process.The article takes auto parts enterprise project quality management in automotive clutch product development for study, use Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) in product quality management, in terms of the establishment of quality system, such as the product development process, the use appropriate methods and tools to analyze and make decision. Explore how to use project quality management tool to develop auto parts for auto parts enterprises so as to further improve the ability of project quality management.The article does research on organization structure of the project, the importance of project quality management; define the characteristics requirement of the product and product develop planning so as to ensure the product can be delivered to customer on time.The article does research on how to establish quality system of product development process. By using product control process, clearly define each project status of Gateway review to ensure achieve process quality requirement in all aspects. Using Potential Failure and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to find product problems and improve the development process of product. Actual case analysis shows that introduction of the product development process to project quality management system can effectively improve the quality of the development, while improving customer satisfaction.
