But when actually operated, one hand, the lack of research the-ory cause the old industrial buildings protection is not enough, one of the prominent point is the quality and aesthetic value has not being minded strong enough. on the other hand, the stylists are unilateraly pursuit of historical symbols and novelty of the commercial effect in the existing design practicesJFinally, the skin texture, cultural values and different space of the old industrial buildings are lacked. Therefore, the present situation of urban update emergencely call for the new thoughts, new theories, new methods,and use a broader per-spective to rationally and seriously study the theory and technology that urban related to re-newal.The old industrial buildings show itself with standardized, functioned efficiency as the guidance, therefore it is conformed with geometric aesthetics, logic and constructive during the process of the industrial production.
