The industrial design is an subject closely related to the demand from society, and its idea is mainly for the public. The public aesthetic psychology is the basement for the communication between the industrial design major and the public. In the modern time that more attention was paid to the person and society, the public aesthetic psychology has not been so satisfied to the performance from the industry design major. so, It needed a neccarry reform to improve the aesthetic psychologyThis article was divided five chapters to elaborate the industrial design reform in the aesthetic psychology, it expatiates the significance of the reform from three aspect including the development in society and design, in industrial design education itself, and in the students themselves.
