Research On The Risk Control Of The University Infrastructure Projects

With large investment and long circle, the construction projects are more vulnerable to all kinds of risks, such as social political risk, economic risk and technical risk. Despite the risk management have been applied in some key construction projects in China and made some achievements, the research and application of risk management in the sector of university infrastructure projects is still lagging behind. After the implementation of the college expansion policy, a lot of university infrastructure projects are under construction. Since these projects are large-scaled, highly systematic, involve many sides and very demanding in terms of construction quality and progress, many situations unfavorable for the development of the higher education have emerged. It is required to strengthen the research on the risk control of the university infrastructure projects while taking the real situations into account.The article is focused on "Risk Control of the University Infrastructure Projects" and elaborates the topic from the following aspects:firstly, a brief introduction on the background of risk management, including the theory research and latest development on risk management both at home and abroad; secondly, combining with the theory on project risk management and the relevant situation of university infrastructure projects, put forward the necessity of risk management for university infrastructure projects; thirdly, according to the main stages in project risk management, combing with the relevant theory, elaborate on the risk identification, risk assessment, risk treatment for university infrastructure projects; fourthly, combing with an infrastructure project case with certain university, identify and assess the risk and put forward the solutions on risk treatment. Judging from the current situation on risk management for university infrastructure projects, it is hoped that this article may be used for reference in the research and real work for this kind of projects.
