Guangzhou Single Configuration High-rise Residential Public Activity Space Modular Research

With the development of social economy, the cities becomes mature. With the increase ofpopulation and the decrease of arable land, these small and medium scale residential areasturn to be high-rise and single-structured, and at the same time, residential requirement ofpublic activity space is changing. This paper attempts to analyze the module structure of thehigh-rise residential public activity space with the modularized analysis method. The mainobjective of this study is to explore the construction methods, experience points of creatinggreat satisfying public activity space for residents.This paper includes five parts:In the first part, after describing the background, purpose and significance of the study,this part will review the domestic and foreign research and theories, and propose the methods,ideas and frameworks of the research.In the second part, on the basis of the development process of residential areasconstruction, this part will put forward the concept of single-structured and high-riseresidential public activity space, and deeply define and analysis it by studying a number ofcases.The third part will analyze the characteristics and problems of single-structured andhigh-rise residential public activity space and introduce the modularized analysis method.Combing with the analysis of five types modules to single-structured and high-riseresidential public activity space, the fourth part will summarize the construction experience ofsingle-structured and high-rise residential public activity space.According to characteristics and construction experience of single-structured andhigh-rise residential public activity space, in above paragraphs, the fifth part will investigateand analyze the Taorantingyuan Residential Area and demonstrate the constructioncharacteristics and requirements of single-structured and high-rise residential public activityspace by studying residential behavior and demands.
