Project(Crane) Electrica Scope Change Contorl

This paper studies the electrical part of crane project scope change control methods and processes in the project implementation process. When project scope change issues encountered during the project implementation process, comparing the initial scope of the project planning based on the deviation analysis menthod, analyse the deviation, plan affect by the project scope changes, then adjust the overall project plan. And the contract control menthod can be used to limit and constraint the change, also it can decrease or avoid some changes which can be predicted. Regarding the change which has occurred or can not avoid, we can negotiate with the client based on the contract(specification). Contract control method is mainly used to constrain the client.Through the contract which made with ALLSEAS gorups that supply the cranes for28000T pipe arrangement vessel, combined the issues encountered in the project process and control menthod, based on the company’s existing change control processes, sorting out a relatively complete electrical project scope change control methods.Affected by the global credit crisis and the International Baltic Freight Index (BDI) continued to decline, the main business of company has also been severely affected. Through this research, the project scope changes menthod could limit the change happen in theory, and the practical application of the results also show that this set of programs was effective. The contract control used properly, the project can also bring additional benefit, increase project profitability. It’s also can be a reference for Similar projects.
